NOTICE TO KELLY'S CUSTOMERS:

To our dear customers, I am very excited that we're so close to re-opening Kelly's Mastectomy Boutique. We have received so much support since early March when we had a major fire in our old building, and I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words, comfort and friendship.

We will be re-opening our doors on May 1st, and we're expecting to see quite a number of our customers and friends at the new location (1747 St. Laurent Blvd., next to Freda's). In our first few days back we will be getting stock in and organized, and we'll do our best to meet everyone's needs.

It will be so wonderful to be doing what I love again. I would like to remind clients that the first few days back will be very busy, and if they call when I am doing a fitting, the answering machine will pick up and I will return your call when I am available.

Kelly's Mastectomy Boutique

The Kelly Story… The Beginning

Kelly is one of the bravest and proudest young women I have the honour of knowing. She taught many she met along her journey that, you take what is handed to you and you do with it all you can. Kelly is my sister-in-law; my youngest brother's wife, my niece's mother; she was diagnosed with inoperable inflammatory carcinoma in November 2002. In May 2003, Kelly underwent a double mastectomy. Unfortunately, on February 20, 2005, Kelly lost her battle. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her courage, strength and faith overwhelmed and touched many along her journey.

This prompted me to fulfill a long-time interest and dream to work with and help women with mastectomies. I trained with Camp®, Amoena® and Airway® to become a certified breast prosthesis fitter. With Kelly's blessing, Kelly's Mastectomy Boutique Inc. was incorporated in June 2003.

I enjoy working with women with and surviving breast cancer. These women are truly some of the strongest, bravest and most beautiful women I know.
